Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Voltary mobile app ("Voltary", "we", "us") handles information. Voltary is an offline electronics toolbox developed by Hasanain Alhamedi. By using the app you agree to this policy.

In short: the tools work offline and require no account. Voltary shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses a device advertising identifier and limited technical data. You can control or reset this at any time (see Your choices).

1. Information we collect

Data you provide

None. Voltary has no sign-up, login, or account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contact details inside the app.

Data stored only on your device

Your settings (theme, language, recent tools, saved sketches) are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Data collected for advertising

Voltary uses Google AdMob to display ads. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:

  • a device advertising identifier (e.g., Android Advertising ID);
  • approximate, non-precise information such as device type, operating system, language/region, and IP-derived coarse location;
  • ad interaction and diagnostic data (e.g., ad views, clicks, crashes).

We do not collect precise GPS location, and Voltary does not request location, contacts, photos, or microphone access.

2. How information is used

Advertising data is used by Google to deliver ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent), to measure ad performance, and to detect fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Advertising & consent

Voltary uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow. In regions that require it (such as the EEA, UK, and certain US states), you are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown, and you can choose non-personalized ads. You can revisit your choice any time via Settings → Privacy options in the app.

Google's handling of data is governed by its own policies:

4. Children

Voltary is a general-audience engineering tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and is not part of the Google Play "Designed for Families" program. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Data sharing

The only third party that receives data is Google (AdMob), acting to provide advertising as described above. We do not share data with any other parties except where required by law.

6. Your choices

  • Reset or limit your advertising ID: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads (reset or delete advertising ID).
  • Change ad consent: in Voltary, open Settings → Privacy options.
  • Opt out of personalized ads: via Google Ad Settings.
  • Remove local data: clear the app's storage or uninstall the app.

7. Data retention

We do not retain personal data on our own servers. Ad-related data is retained by Google according to its policies. Local app data persists on your device until you clear it or uninstall.

8. Security

Because Voltary keeps your settings on-device and operates without accounts, the data exposure surface is minimal. Ad requests are transmitted securely by the Google Mobile Ads SDK.

9. International users

Advertising is provided by Google, which may process data in countries other than your own under its safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
